Sound & Vision: Crafting Emotional Journeys
The Art of Music and Visually Driven Storytelling
I’m a multidisciplinary creative with a background that bridges strategy, storytelling, and production. Over the years, I’ve led campaigns across healthcare, finance, tourism, and behavior change—bringing together video direction, editing, motion graphics, animation, music production, and voiceover to create work that moves people. My strength lies in building emotionally resonant narratives—whether that’s scripting a 30-second spot, shaping a storyboard that hits the right beat, or directing a voiceover that connects on a human level.
I understand how to guide a concept from a blank page to a fully produced piece—balancing creative direction with hands-on execution. I’ve written and produced original music for national campaigns, directed shoots, edited story-driven content, and voiced spots that have reached diverse and underserved audiences. To me, the medium doesn’t matter as much as the message—and how it makes people feel.
That instinct didn’t come from a classroom—it came from home.
My dad was a musician. My mom was a dancer with a love for acrobatics. My grandmother painted, played piano, and made sure I did too. Our house wasn’t quiet—it was layered. Guitars in the hallway. Choreography in the living room. Recitals on Sunday nights that felt more like rituals than practice. That wasn’t art class. That was life. And without knowing it at the time, it was my first education in how to move an audience—not with spectacle, but with intention. With feeling. With timing.
Those early lessons in rhythm, storytelling, and form built the creative foundation I use every day. Long before I storyboarded a campaign, I was learning emotional pacing through song. Before I cut a video, I was learning tension and release from piano notes. It taught me to think in layers—to compose for feeling, not just format. To build experiences that don’t just look good or sound good—but stick.
You’ll find those fingerprints across the work below: in the music I’ve written and produced, the voiceover spots I’ve recorded, the videos I’ve directed, and the campaigns I’ve helped shape. They all come from the same place: a belief that great creative work doesn’t just inform—it resonates.
Start watching. Start listening. That’s where the real story begins.
For the Gatlinburg RFP, I crafted a spec music video that pairs my original composition with evocative stock and destination footage—licensed solely for this demo—to showcase how a tailored soundtrack can bring a place’s story to life. Every cut, transition, and visual flourish was hand-edited to echo the song’s rhythm and build toward moments of discovery: misty mountain sunrises, winding forest roads, and the vibrant pulse of downtown Gatlinburg. While I own the music, the imagery remains the property of its respective rights holders; this piece is presented purely as a creative proof of concept, demonstrating how strategic editing and a purpose-driven score can ignite emotion, inspire exploration, and elevate a destination’s appeal.
For the New Smyrna Beach spec video, I set my original track, “It’s a Shore Thing, Smyrna Style,” to a curated collection of stock and destination footage—sunlit boardwalks, surf-swept shores, and local festivals—to illustrate how a bespoke song can capture a community’s spirit. Every edit, from rhythmic cuts on the chorus to sweeping montages on the bridge, was crafted to sync visuals with musical peaks, showcasing New Smyrna’s laid-back charm and vibrant culture. Though I own the song, the imagery belongs to its licensors; this video exists solely as a creative demo, demonstrating how an original soundtrack and thoughtful editing can bring a destination’s unique story to life.
Why Am I Here” grew from the shock and wonder of finally learning who my father was after a lifetime of questions. I poured every ounce of longing and relief into the song’s warm acoustic guitar and soaring strings, capturing that mix of heartache and hope.
I’ve developed and produced original video content and voice-over work that bring stories to life in my own voice. Whether it’s scripting and narrating destination promos, crafting personal documentaries, or layering emotive commentary over dynamic visuals, I handle every step—from concept through final mix—to ensure the tone, pacing, and emotion align perfectly with the message. My voice-over work ranges from intimate, heartfelt monologues to energetic brand spots, always tailored to engage viewers and reinforce the narrative’s core.
For Tecta America—a fourth-generation, family-owned roofing leader—I immersed myself in their heritage and values from day one, conducting in-depth interviews with the founding family and frontline crew to capture what makes them unique. Drawing on those conversations, I shaped a narrative script that wove together their commitment to craftsmanship, community, and integrity. The resulting video combines rich footage of job sites and family gatherings with my own voiceover, guiding viewers through Tecta’s journey and underscoring why “family owned” is far more than a tagline. The client said no one could tell their story as authentically as I could, so I stepped behind the mic to lend the script the warmth and honesty it deserved—creating a brand film that truly sells both services and soul.
For SteelFit—“Fit for Your Lifestyle”—I wrote, narrated, and edited a high-energy brand film that showcases how their modular fitness systems adapt to every routine, from pre-dawn workouts to living-room strength circuits. I crafted a script that follows three distinct users—a sunrise runner, a mid-day desk-breaker, and an evening yogi—each seamlessly integrating SteelFit gear into their lives. My original voiceover ties their stories together with an authoritative yet approachable tone, punctuated by the mantra “Fit for your lifestyle.”
For SteelFit’s “The Right Fit for You,” I wrote and recorded the on-brand voiceover and handled every aspect of the edit. By pairing my narration with tightly cut footage of SteelFit’s modular equipment in action, the video underscores the brand promise—no matter your routine, SteelFit delivers the perfect match.
